Je wast lak niet in de wasmachine en ook niet met de hand. Neem het oppervlak alleen af met een zachte, licht vochtige doek. Gebruik lauw water met eventueel een druppel milde zeep. Dompel het materiaal niet onder en wrijf niet hard. Veeg na het reinigen meteen droog met een pluisvrije doek.
Stop lak niet in de droger en wring het niet uit. Laat het aan de lucht drogen op kamertemperatuur, uit de buurt van direct zonlicht en warmtebronnen. Hang het item op een brede hanger of leg het plat, zodat de laklaag niet knikt of barst.
Je strijkt lak niet. Hitte kan de laklaag laten smelten of scheuren. Wil je lichte vouwen verminderen? Hang het kledingstuk rechtop in een goed geventileerde ruimte; vaak zakt de vouw vanzelf uit.
