Do not wash patent material in the washing machine, nor by hand in water. Wipe the patent material clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap. Work gently and do not rub hard. Wipe again with a clean, damp cloth and dry immediately with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use bleach, alcohol, acetone, solvents or abrasive products.
Do not tumble dry. Air dry at room temperature. Lay flat or hang, away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators or a hairdryer. Make sure parts do not stick together while drying.
Do not iron patent material and do not use steam. Heat can damage the glossy finish, causing it to crack or discolour.
