Je wast polyester op 30°C op een fijnwasprogramma. Keer het kledingstuk binnenstebuiten en was met soortgelijke kleuren. Gebruik een mild wasmiddel. Gebruik geen bleekmiddel. Draag je sportkleding van polyester? Gebruik dan geen wasverzachter.
Je droogt polyester het liefst op lage temperatuur in de droger of hangend aan de lijn. Haal het snel uit de machine om kreuk te voorkomen. Vermijd hoge hitte en direct zonlicht voor lange tijd.
Je strijkt polyester op lage temperatuur (synthetisch/1 stip). Strijk binnenstebuiten en vermijd direct contact met prints of versieringen. Gebruik eventueel een persdoek tussen strijkijzer en stof.
