Was satijn op 30°C op een fijnwas- of handwasprogramma. Gebruik een mild wasmiddel en geen bleekmiddel. Keer het artikel binnenstebuiten en stop het bij voorkeur in een waszak. Kies een lage centrifuge en haal het direct na het programma uit de machine.
Droog satijn niet in de droger. Hang het aan de lijn of leg het plat te drogen, weg van direct zonlicht. Niet wringen; laat het water rustig uit het stof lopen om kreuk en schade te voorkomen.
Strijk op lage temperatuur op de binnenkant. Gebruik een persdoek tussen het ijzer en de stof. Je kunt ook kort stomen om kreuk te verwijderen. Druk niet hard en laat het ijzer niet lang op één plek staan.
