Laat satijn aan de lucht drogen. Niet wringen. Druk water er zachtjes uit. Leg plat of hang het netjes op een hanger. Droog bij voorkeur in de schaduw om glans en kleur te behouden.

Strijk op lage temperatuur. Strijk binnenstebuiten of leg een dunne doek tussen het strijkijzer en de stof. Gebruik alleen lichte stoom. Beweeg het strijkijzer steeds en test eerst op een klein stukje.
