Was je katoenen artikel op 40°C op een fijne stand. Gebruik een mild wasmiddel en geen bleekmiddel. Keer het kledingstuk binnenstebuiten en was met soortgelijke kleuren. Vul de trommel niet te vol. Twijfel je? Kies 30°C om krimp te beperken.
Droog bij voorkeur aan de lucht. Gebruik je een droger? Kies een lage temperatuur. Haal het kledingstuk direct uit de droger om kreuk te beperken. Vermijd hoge hitte om krimp te voorkomen. Breng het kledingstuk in vorm terwijl het nog licht vochtig is.
Strijk katoen heet (drie stippen) en gebruik stoom als dat helpt. Strijk binnenstebuiten en niet over prints of borduursels. Gebruik een persdoek als je glans wilt voorkomen. Laat het kledingstuk eerst goed drogen voor het strijken.
