Je stopt staal niet in de wasmachine. Maak het schoon met lauw water en een mild afwasmiddel. Gebruik een zachte spons of microvezeldoek. Vermijd schuurmiddelen en bleek. Werk in de nerfrichting als het geborsteld staal is.
Droog het staal meteen na het wassen met een zachte, pluisvrije doek. Laat het niet druipnat staan. Niet in de droger. Zorg dat alle randen en naden goed droog zijn om vlekken of roestvorming te voorkomen.
Je strijkt of stoomt staal niet. Wil je extra glans? Poets het oppervlak met een geschikte roestvrijstaal-reiniger en wrijf na met een droge doek.
