Was wol op het wolprogramma op 30°C of met de hand in koel tot lauw water. Gebruik een speciaal wolwasmiddel. Keer het kledingstuk binnenstebuiten, was met soortgelijke kleuren en laat niet weken. Wring niet uit; kies een lage centrifuge of spoel zonder te centrifugeren.
Leg het kledingstuk na het wassen plat op een schone handdoek en breng het in model. Stop het niet in de droger. Laat het rustig drogen, uit direct zonlicht en weg van warmtebronnen. Druk overtollig water voorzichtig uit door het in een handdoek te rollen.
Strijk op lage temperatuur (één stip), bij voorkeur binnenstebuiten. Gebruik een persdoek tussen het strijkijzer en de stof. Licht stomen mag, maar druk niet hard en blijf bewegen om afdrukken te voorkomen.
