Was leer niet in de wasmachine en niet met de hand. Verwijder vlekken voorzichtig met een zachte, licht vochtige doek. Gebruik zo nodig een speciale leerreiniger of -conditioner en test die eerst op een onopvallende plek. Gebruik geen agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen en geen veel water.
Droog leer niet in de droger en niet op of bij een warmtebron. Laat het aan de lucht drogen, uit de zon en uit de buurt van warmte. Leg of hang het netjes zodat het zijn vorm houdt. Knijp of wring het niet uit.
Strijk leer niet. Heb je lichte kreuk? Hang het in een vochtige badkamer zodat de stoom de kreuk ontspant. Gebruik anders een kledingstomer op lage stand, op afstand en met een doek ertussen. Gebruik geen directe hitte op het leer.
