Was katoenen kleding op 30–40°C met soortgelijke kleuren. Keer het kledingstuk binnenstebuiten. Gebruik een mild wasmiddel en geen bleekmiddel. Kies een normaal of fijn wasprogramma en centrifugeer matig (tot ca. 800–1000 tpm). Heeft het artikel een print of borduursel? Was dan binnenstebuiten en liefst in een waszak.
Droog bij voorkeur aan de lucht: op een hanger of plat liggend. Vermijd felle zon bij donkere kleuren. Mag in de droger op lage temperatuur. Haal het direct na het drogen uit de trommel om kreuk en krimp te beperken.
Strijken op middelhoge temperatuur
Strijk katoen op middelhoge temperatuur (twee stippen). Gebruik stoom of strijk licht vochtig voor een glad resultaat. Strijk binnenstebuiten en niet over prints of applicaties. Heb je een gevoelige opdruk? Leg een dun doekje tussen strijkijzer en stof.
