Wash your cotton item at 40°C. Turn it inside out and wash with similar colours. Use a mild detergent and choose a low to medium spin. Do not use bleach.
Tumble dry low Line dry
Preferably line dry or tumble dry on low heat. Remove the garment from the machine straight after washing and hang it neatly to reduce creasing.
Medium-hot iron (max. 150°C) Steam OK
Iron on medium heat. Use steam or iron the garment slightly damp. Iron inside out and avoid direct contact with any prints or details.
We only alter clothing bought at GENTS. Not quite the perfect fit? In store, we pin it for you and our tailor makes the adjustments: sleeves and trouser legs to length, taking in or letting out.
Order online and collect in-store, and you can add alterations to your order right away.

- You have 14 days to change your mind. There are no return costs when you exchange for store credit, drop your return off at one of our stores, or send it back yourself with your own label. Only when you choose a refund with our DHL return label do you pay € 4,99, the price of that label. If you send it by post, please place the packing slip or a note with your order number in the box: without a return form, processing and refunding may take longer. Remove the old shipping label from the box, or make it completely unreadable, including the barcode. Otherwise DHL may send the parcel back to you. Register your return at gents.nl/retourneren.
- When will my order arrive?
- In Netherlands, your order usually arrives within 1–2 business days. Orders placed on working days before 23:59 are usually dispatched from our warehouse the same day; weekend orders are sent out on Monday.
- Can I visit a store for fitting advice?
- Absolutely. Our stylists are available at all 19 of our stores — no obligation and without an appointment. For suits and weddings, we do recommend booking an appointment.
