Je wast de elastische delen met de hand in koud tot lauw water (max. 30°C) met een mild wasmiddel. Was het leer niet in water. Dep vlekken op het leer met een licht vochtige, zachte doek of gebruik een speciale lederreiniger. Dompel het leer nooit onder. Gebruik geen bleekmiddel of wasverzachter. Wring niet.
Je droogt niet in de droogtrommel. Druk water zachtjes uit het elastiek met een handdoek en leg het plat te drogen, in model. Laat zowel elastiek als leer aan de lucht drogen op kamertemperatuur, uit direct zonlicht en weg van warmtebronnen. Gebruik geen föhn.
Je strijkt het leer niet. Strijk het elastiek liever ook niet. Moet het toch? Zet het strijkijzer op lage temperatuur (één stip), leg een dunne doek tussen strijkijzer en stof en blijf weg van de leren delen. Gebruik geen stoom.
