Was op 30°C op een wol- of fijnwasprogramma, of met de hand. Gebruik een mild (wol)wasmiddel en was binnenstebuiten, bij voorkeur in een waszak. Kies een laag toerental bij het centrifugeren. Gebruik geen bleekmiddel en was met soortgelijke kleuren.
Haal het water voorzichtig uit het kledingstuk, niet wringen. Leg het artikel plat te drogen op een schone handdoek en breng het in vorm. Vermijd de droger en direct zon- of hittebronnen.
Strijk op lage temperatuur (1 stip) en bij voorkeur binnenstebuiten. Gebruik een persdoek om glans en schroeiplekken te voorkomen. Lichte stoom mag, maar houd het strijkijzer niet lang op één plek.
