Was katoen binnenstebuiten. Kies 30°C voor kleuren en 40°C voor normaal wassen. Wit katoen mag je op 60°C wassen. Was met gelijke kleuren. Gebruik een mild (vloeibaar) wasmiddel. Gebruik geen chloorbleekmiddel. Stel de centrifuge in op laag tot middel.
Droog bij voorkeur aan de lijn en vorm het artikel direct na het wassen. Vermijd fel zonlicht bij gekleurde stukken. Je kunt een droger gebruiken op lage warmte, kort programma. Haal het snel uit de trommel om kreuk te beperken. Kleine krimp is mogelijk bij katoen.
Strijk katoen op middelhoge tot hoge warmte met stoom. Strijk binnenstebuiten om glans te voorkomen. Strijk niet direct over prints of borduursels; leg er een doek over of sla dit deel over.
