Was je katoenen artikel op 40°C, bij voorkeur binnenstebuiten en met gelijke kleuren. Gebruik een mild wasmiddel en geen bleek. Was donker en fel gekleurd textiel de eerste keren apart. Kies een laag toerental om krimpen te beperken.
Droog aan de lijn of in de droger op lage temperatuur. Haal je item direct uit de trommel om kreuk te voorkomen. Vermijd drogen in volle zon om verkleuring tegen te gaan. Breng het kledingstuk na het wassen zachtjes in vorm.
Strijk op middelhoge temperatuur (ca. 150°C). Gebruik stoom als dat nodig is. Strijk binnenstebuiten en niet over prints of decoraties. Gebruik eventueel een doek tussen het strijkijzer en de stof.
