Was zijde met de hand in koud tot lauw water (max. 30°C) met een mild wasmiddel voor wol/zijde. Dompel kort onder, beweeg rustig en wring niet. Spoel met koud water tot het helder is. Gebruik geen wasverzachter en geen bleek. Twijfel je? Laat het kledingstuk professioneel reinigen (P).
Rol het artikel eerst in een schone handdoek om extra water zacht uit te drukken. Droog plat op een handdoek, uit direct zonlicht en ver van warmtebronnen. Hang niet zwaar nat op en gebruik geen droogtrommel. Wring of twist de stof niet.
Strijk op lage temperatuur (1 stip, max. 110°C), bij voorkeur binnenstebuiten. Gebruik een persdoek tussen strijkijzer en stof. Zet lichte stoom in of strijk als de stof nog heel licht vochtig is. Beweeg rustig en laat het ijzer niet lang op één plek staan.
