Was je zijden artikel met de hand in koud tot lauw water (max. 30°C). Gebruik zacht wasmiddel voor wol/zijde. Laat niet weken, wrijf niet en wring niet. Spoel kort en druk het water er voorzichtig uit. Niet bleken.
Rol het kledingstuk eerst in een schone handdoek om vocht op te nemen. Leg het daarna plat te drogen, uit direct zonlicht en weg van warmtebronnen. Gebruik geen droger.
Strijk op lage temperatuur (1 stip), bij voorkeur binnenstebuiten. Gebruik een dunne doek tussen strijkijzer en stof. Liever zonder stoom en houd het ijzer in beweging om glansplekken te voorkomen.
