Was zijde met de hand of op een fijnwasprogramma op 30°C. Gebruik een mild zijdewasmiddel. Was binnenstebuiten en apart of met soortgelijke kleuren. Laat niet weken en wring niet uit; druk het water er zachtjes uit.
Droog zijde niet in de droger. Leg het kledingstuk plat op een schone handdoek en vorm het voorzichtig in model. Laat aan de lucht drogen, uit direct zonlicht.
Strijk zijde op lage temperatuur (1 stip), bij voorkeur binnenstebuiten en met een persdoek. Gebruik geen hoge hitte. Als je stoom gebruikt, doe dit heel licht om vlekken te voorkomen.
