Was zijde met de hand in koud tot lauw water (max. 30°C) met een mild zijdewasmiddel. Wil je de wasmachine gebruiken? Kies fijnwas 30°C, doe het kledingstuk in een waszak en gebruik een lage centrifuge. Laat niet weken en wring niet uit.
Laat je zijden kleding aan de lucht drogen. Leg het plat op een schone handdoek of hang het op een hanger, uit direct zonlicht. Gebruik geen droger. Druk overtollig water voorzichtig uit met een handdoek, niet wringen.
Strijk op lage temperatuur (1 stip), binnenstebuiten en het liefst als de stof nog licht vochtig is. Gebruik een persdoek tussen de bout en de stof om glans en strepen te voorkomen. Gebruik weinig tot geen stoom.
