Was je katoenen artikel op 40°C met soortgelijke kleuren. Keer het binnenstebuiten en gebruik een mild wasmiddel. Kies een normaal of fijnwasprogramma. Was niet warmer om krimp te voorkomen.
Droog bij voorkeur op lage temperatuur in de droger en haal het direct eruit om kreuk te beperken. Nog beter: hang het aan de lijn of leg het plat te drogen. Dat is zachter voor de stof en gaat langer mee.
Strijk op middelhoge temperatuur. Gebruik stoom als dat helpt tegen kreuk. Strijk niet over opdrukken of borduursels; leg zo nodig een dunne doek tussen het strijkijzer en de stof.
