How to fold it
Straight fold
Crisp and formal. The fold for a suit, a wedding, or a business meeting.
- Lay the pocket square flat and fold it in half.
- Fold it in half again, until it's just slightly narrower than your breast pocket.
- Fold the bottom edge up to the height you need.
- Tuck it into your pocket with a straight edge of approximately 1 cm showing above.
One point
Classic, with just a touch more character than the straight fold.
- Lay the pocket square flat as a diamond, with one point facing up.
- Fold the bottom point up to just below the top point: you now have a triangle.
- Fold the sides inward to the width of your breast pocket.
- Fold the bottom edge up and tuck it into your pocket, with the point facing up.
Two points
Festive. Beautiful at a wedding or a night out.
- Lay the pocket square flat as a diamond, with one point facing up.
- Fold the bottom point up, slightly to the side of the top point, so two points sit next to each other.
- Fold the sides inward to the width of your breast pocket.
- Fold the bottom edge up and tuck it into your pocket, with the points facing up.
Puff
Relaxed and soft. At its best with a silk pocket square, worn with a blazer without a tie.
- Gather the pocket square in the middle and let the points hang down.
- Make a loose ring with your other hand and pull the middle halfway through.
- Turn it around and tuck the points down into your pocket, with the puff facing up.
- Shape the puff with your fingers until it sits loosely and slightly irregular.

Wash your polyester at 30°C on a delicate or synthetic cycle. Turn the item inside out and wash with similar colours. Use a mild detergent and no bleach. Do not overfill the drum.
Low heat Air dry
Tumble dry on low heat or air dry to preserve shape and colour. Remove from the machine immediately after washing to prevent creasing. Avoid high heat.
Iron on low heat (1 dot, max. 110°C). Use a pressing cloth if needed. Do not iron over prints or embellishments. Polyester usually needs no ironing; hanging it up is often enough.

Only when you choose a refund with our DHL return label do you pay € 4,99, the price of that label. If you send it by post, please place the packing slip or a note with your order number in the box: without a return form, processing and refunding may take longer. Remove the old shipping label from the box, or make it completely unreadable, including the barcode. Otherwise DHL may send the parcel back to you. Register your return at gents.nl/retourneren.
