Was zijde met de hand in koud tot lauw water (max. 30°C). Gebruik een fijnwasmiddel voor zijde, zonder enzymen of bleek. Beweeg het textiel rustig; niet schrobben en niet lang laten weken. Spoel voorzichtig uit met koud water. Gebruik geen bleekmiddel. Druk het water er zachtjes uit, niet wringen. Was bij voorkeur binnenstebuiten en apart of met soortgelijke kleuren. Professioneel reinigen (P) mag.
Rol het kledingstuk in een handdoek en druk het water eruit. Laat liggend drogen op een schone handdoek, in de schaduw en uit direct zonlicht. Niet in de droogtrommel. Hang zijde niet kletsnat op om vormvervorming te voorkomen.
Strijk binnenstebuiten op lage temperatuur (één stip), bij voorkeur als de stof licht vochtig is. Gebruik een persdoek tussen strijkijzer en stof. Stomen op lage stand mag; houd wat afstand om watervlekken te voorkomen. Strijk niet te lang op één plek.
