Was je artikel met elastiek op 30°C, op een zacht programma. Gebruik een mild wasmiddel en doe het liefst een waszak om het te beschermen. Gebruik geen wasverzachter of bleek. Was binnenstebuiten en met soortgelijke kleuren.

Laat je artikel aan de lucht drogen. Leg het plat op een handdoek om de vorm van het elastiek te behouden. Stop het niet in de droger en hang het niet uit, zo voorkom je uitrekken. Droog buiten direct zonlicht.
Laag (max. 110°C) Geen stoom
Strijk alleen als het echt nodig is. Gebruik een lage temperatuur en strijk binnenstebuiten. Leg een doek tussen het strijkijzer en de stof. Gebruik geen stoom, zodat het elastiek niet verzwakt.
