Was je artikel op 30°C met een fijnwas- of handwasprogramma. Gebruik een mild wasmiddel en geen wasverzachter, want dit kan het elastiek verzwakken. Keer het product binnenstebuiten en was met soortgelijke kleuren. Stop het liefst in een waszak en gebruik een lage centrifuge.

Laat je artikel niet in de droger drogen. Druk water er zachtjes uit, wring niet. Vorm het kledingstuk terug in model en laat het liggend drogen, uit direct zonlicht en weg van warmtebronnen. Zo blijft het elastiek soepel.

Bij voorkeur niet strijken. Moet het toch, strijk dan op lage temperatuur (1 stip) en zonder stoom. Leg een doek tussen het strijkijzer en de stof en vermijd direct contact met het elastiek.
