Voeg een speciaal tintje toe met accessoires - Gents

Easter weekend has barely wrapped up and the next series of celebrations and events are already on the horizon. Soon it will be King's Day, and a week later we'll all be celebrating Dutch freedom. Of course, you don't need to dress as the Dutch flag and pennant to join in. Simply add a special touch to your outfit through accessories.

We thoroughly enjoyed the warm weather over Easter. With the bread and Easter eggs still fresh in mind, we're already looking forward to King's Day. The week after, you'll surely have a liberation festival to visit. Both King's Day and Remembrance Day and Liberation Day are special occasions. Do you want to show that you're joining in the festivities, or are you planning to show proper respect to the victims of World War II? GENTS is offering advice today on how to easily add a special touch to your outfit for these occasions.

Orange above, orange above!

The evening before the actual birthday celebration takes place, the party really gets started: on King's Night you can let loose. Of course, a true gentleman does this entirely in style. You could wear a complete suit in orange, if you still have one hanging in your wardrobe from the European Championship or World Cup. An alternative is to cleverly use various accessories. This is just as stylish and even better for your wallet! Invest in an orange tie and matching cufflinks, for example. Going for a truly festive look? Then consider orange braces complete with a bow tie in the same colour. Whatever you choose, GENTS got you covered!

Show your colours and then celebrate freedom

The week after we've celebrated our king's birthday, Remembrance Day and Liberation Day are on the agenda. There isn't really a specific outfit for these days like there is for King's Day. That doesn't mean you can't add a special touch with accessories. In fact, special occasions like Remembrance Day and Liberation Day are perfect for this. Wear the national 4 and 5 May lapel pin, for example.

Don't have one? GENTS has a number of stylish lapel pins, or boutonnières, in stock. With a stylish red boutonnière or blue lapel pin, you'll immediately show that you haven't forgotten these unique Dutch celebrations. Not a fan of such a pin on your jacket lapel? Then you can always choose to wear a pocket square or tie in the colours of the Dutch flag instead.

In short, dress to impress becomes quite simple with GENTS! Feel free to take a look at our accessories range to add a special touch to your outfit as well!
