Was wol met de hand of op het wolprogramma op max. 30°C. Gebruik een wolwasmiddel. Was binnenstebuiten, met vergelijkbare kleuren. Kies een lage centrifuge (max. 600–800 tpm) of sla centrifugeren over. Wring het item niet uit.
Stop wol niet in de droger. Leg het plat te drogen op een schone handdoek en breng het voorzichtig in vorm terwijl het nog vochtig is. Laat het liggend drogen, uit de zon en weg van directe warmtebronnen. Hang het niet op; zo voorkom je uitrekken.
Strijk op lage temperatuur (één punt) en gebruik een persdoek tussen strijkijzer en stof. Strijk kort en zonder stoom, of gebruik een stoomfunctie op afstand om op te frissen. Strijk niet over prints, labels of naden.
