Was je artikel op het wol- of fijnwasprogramma op 30°C. Gebruik een wolwasmiddel. Was binnenstebuiten, met soortgelijke kleuren. Gebruik bij voorkeur een waszak en kies een laag toerental (max. 800). Gebruik geen bleekmiddel en geen wasverzachter. Spoel kort en wring niet.
Haal het kledingstuk na het wassen direct uit de machine, trek het voorzichtig in vorm en laat het plat drogen op een schone handdoek, uit de zon en weg van warmtebronnen. Niet in de droger. Niet uitwringen; druk overtollig water zachtjes uit met een handdoek. Hangend drogen kan het artikel laten uitrekken.
Strijk op lage temperatuur (1 punt, ca. 110°C). Gebruik bij voorkeur een persdoek tussen het strijkijzer en de stof. Je kunt licht stomen, maar houd het strijkijzer in beweging en druk niet hard. Test eerst op een onopvallende plek.
