Commonly, we call this holiday money, but the official term is actually ‘vakantiebijslag’. It is possible to include this allowance in the monthly payslip. Often, the choice is made to pay it out in one lump sum. That naturally looks a bit nicer in your bank account. Usually, this allowance is paid around June. This can vary per employer.
